About Matthew
I graduated cum laude from Ave Maria in 2011 with a B.A. in Biology. During my time at Ave, I was the captain of the men's soccer team, president of the Biology Club, a Resident Assistant, and was blessed to participate in a mission trip to Nicaragua. It was also at Ave Maria that I met my wife, Alicia, and we have been blessed with nine children. After Ave Maria, I headed straight into dental school at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where I graduated at the top of my class and was initiated into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the oldest national dental honor society in the United States, which recognizes dental students for academic excellence, exemplary character, and professional leadership. I was also honored to receive the Pediatric Dentistry Award. After graduating with my DDS, I worked in Michigan for a short time before opening my dental practice, Mullally Family Dentistry, from the ground up in Indiana.
Alumni Board Bio
I am honored to serve on the alumni board because I believe in the mission and lasting impact of my alma mater. Having benefited from the education, community, and formation it provided me, I want to give back by using my experiences, skills, and perspective to help the university continue to grow and thrive. It is important to me that we preserve the unique identity and values that make this institution special so that my children and future generations can experience the same opportunities and foundation that have been so meaningful in my own life.
What I'm Up To
Outside of the office, I still enjoy playing and coaching soccer. I serve as a Youth Academy Coach for Indy Eleven and typically coach two or three of our children's teams each year. Our family lives on a small farm, where we enjoy raising cattle, sheep, and chickens, as well as breeding dogs. There always seems to be another project waiting around the farm.
