About Savohn
Savohn Hunt graduated from Ave Maria University with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He spent four years as a student-athlete, served as captain of the football team for three years, and was later inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame. During his senior year, he converted to the Catholic faith, an experience deeply shaped by his time at Ave Maria that continues to influence how he lives and works.

I joined the Alumni Board because I wanted to help grow Ave Maria University and become a place that helps shape individuals post their time at AMU. Ave Maria was such a transformative place for me that I want to continue to push and expand the mission of AMU
What I'm Up To
Today, he is an entrepreneur and the founder of Ave Rides, a local transportation company serving Ave Maria and Southwest Florida, as well as TrackMyTrip.ai, a tool built to help rideshare drivers better track their mileage and expenses. He currently lives in Ave Maria with his wife, Emily, and their two sons, Tyson and Kyree, with another child on the way in June 2026.

Ave Rides is a local transportation company based in Ave Maria, Florida, focused on making it easier for residents, students, and visitors to get where they need to go. The company offers airport rides, local trips, and golf cart rentals, all with an emphasis on reliability and a personal, community-first approach.
